A Bit Of Everything...

Hello lovelies,
I hope you are all well:)
Today I wanted to a different type of post for you so I do hope you enjoy this and that it's not entirely floppy aha!!
I wanted to write a kind of a 'Day In My Life' as I absolutely love watching these on YouTube and I thought it would not only be a good video but also a good blog post!
So one of the first thing's I did was get coffee, I literally cannot function properly without my coffee I'm such a massive coffee addict aha! As there was nothing that I needed to do for the day I decided a trip to Starbucks in order. I grabbed my bag, my sister and of course my camera and headed out the door. I ordered my usual Iced Caramel Macchiato with Soya milk because I'm allergic to Dairy.

It was so good let me tell you aha! I then had to return home because unfortunately I can't spend my whole entire life sitting and drinking coffee in Starbucks.
When I returned home I still wanted to go back out so I got my moo, my camera and headed out the door.We were out for about an hour before Moo got tired and refused to walk any further. Thankfully I got some neat shot's which I'm super proud of!

When we finally got home I ran myself a bubble bath and watched some YouTube because what better way to end the day?
Thank you so much for reading.
Let me know if you like these types of post's so I can do more if you do.

Good evening my lovelies,
I hope you're all doing well:)
Today's post is another book review. I know, I know I'm sorry for bashing you with book reviews but as you know I have set myself a challenge of 19 books to read this summer and so far I'm 4 down (15 more to go!)
I do have to admit that I'm amazed with these books so far I actually don't want them to end. They're all amazing books and it makes my love for reading and writing more passionate that I literally spend almost every second of my day with my head in a book (literally).
Any who, the book I'll be reviewing today is 'The Sky Is Everywhere' by Jandy Nelson.

This is a novel about first love and first loss.
I know I say this in almost every single book review but oh my gosh this book is one of the best. I would say that it is very similar to 'All The Bright Places' in the case of there being a girl who has just lost a sister and is grieving she then falls in love and so on, so on, so on. It's not entirely the same but the jist of it is.
Reading this book made me want to fall in love, it made me realise and understand a lot more about grieving because (and although I have done my fair share of grieving in my life) no one's a pro at it and everyone grieves differently. I grieve near enough the same way as Lennie Walker (minus being horny af all the time aha!!). When someone dies who I'm close too I want to keep everything that's there's where they were when they were alive. I want it to be just like they were alive because I don't want to believe that they're actually gone. This is the same as Lennie
It's truly heart-breaking, utterly compelling and heart-lifting. I will never forget this book!
I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I got it from WHSmith's for around £7.99 I believe. It is part of the Zoella book club range and that's actually what drew me to it not going to lie.
I hope you enjoyed today's blog post, remember I'm posting every day this month.
Comment below what book's you've been loving lately and I'll see you tomorrow with a new blog post.

Hello Lovelies
Hope you are well.
Today's post is a book review on the amazing book 'Before I Die' by Jenny Downham.

Tessa is 16 and has a terminal cancer, leukaemia. She's been battling it for 4 years and in order to fully appreciate the last few months of her life she undergoes treatment. Tessa makes a list of things she wants to do before she dies (hence the title) as a way of coping with a death that is certain and soon.

The list consists of many, many things  including sex, drugs and  knowing she won't have to endure the consequences, criminal behaviour.Tessa rushes head long into the experiences with her best friend Zoey by her side to help. We only know what's on the list as Tessa experiences them, and they change as she becomes sicker. What she discovers is that both life and death are more complex and luminous than she ever realised.

It's not like any other sentimental teen 'sickie' book. She's not in denial and she doesn't want any medical attention. Tessa refuses chemo therapy so all the doctors could do was monitor the progression and keep her out of pain with multiple vitamins and pain killers.

Like almost every other teen book Tessa falls in love, but it's not a relationship you fall in love with and you wish you had.

Zoey also falls pregnant unexpectedly (this was a huge shocker for me) which highlights the life circle.

The last few pages of the novel are truly heart-wrenching as they focus on grief and panic of her family as they experience the last few moments with her. It makes you feel like your sat at her bedside whilst she's dying because there's that much detail.  This vision is a rare fanciful moment focusing primarily on the moment-to-moment impressions of living and dying.

When we die the majority of us will be disappointed that we never got to go to disneyland or that we weren't million-aires. When we do die, as everyone will one day, we should be as lucky as Tessa to be allowed a death that is comfortable, meaningful and surrounded by the love of friends and family. Tessa's regret, ultimately, is not that for those things she hasn't tasted or seen but a simple plea of "I don't want to be dead, I haven't been loved this way for long enough".

This book is by far one of my favourite books and I wish I could re-read it a million times without knowing what was going to happen so can I can have the same excitement, shock and 'OMG WHAT!!!?' experience as I did the first time. I highly recommend this book to all of you guys aged 12+!!

Hello everyone itsmechloemay! Today's blog post is different compared to my recent ones as its a furry friend tag!
As you know I have a lot of pets but recently people on my pup's Instagram (Click Here To Follow) have been asking for us to do the furry friend tag, I decided to do one on my blog and one on my YouTube (Click Here To Subscribe)
So let's just get started:)

1) what is your pets name?
Her name is Minnie-Moo

2) what type of pet is it and what breed?
She is a Jack Russell dog

3) how long have you had your fur baby?
I got Moo as a surprise from when I got back from hospital on the 29th of January 2016

4) how did you receive your pet?
Like I said in the answer above this one I was put in hospital for mental health reasons and when I got home I walked into my room to find loads of presents for me, I opened them to find dog toys and puppy supplies and then my sister came in with a bag that had a puppy in (this was recorded so if you want to see the video of me being surprised let me know).

5) how old is your pet?
Moo is around 4-5 months. She was born on the 21st October 2015.

6) what some quirky things about your pets personality?
Minnie loves too bring her toys too you and she pulls her blanket across the floor or bed (debating where about she is) and gives them to me when I'm upset. She also loves to bark at trees because they're taller than her LOL!

7) what does your relationship with your pet mean to you?
My relationship with Minnie means everything to me! Although I've only had her for a little while she's brought light to my days and I love her so much! We're inseparable and I can't imagine my life without her!

8) what are your favourite past times with your pet?
One of my favourite past times with Minnie is actually the day that I got her! She was so scared of everyone but me and on the night time she would not leave my side that she slept on my head the next morning when I woke up she had somehow managed to jump or fall off of the bed and because I have too many clothes my wardrobe door doesn't close so I woke up to find the majority of my clothes in a huge pile on my floor with a sleeping puppy on top aha!

9)  what are your pets nicknames?
Oh gosh, Minnie Moo has so many! Minnie, Moo, Moo Moo is one that we always use (we actually use it more than her real name! Princess, smelly, poopy because she poops a lot lol, fuzzy because she's so fluffy and we have so much more!

So that is it for today's blog post! I hope you enjoy, I shall see you soon with another post:)

Xoxo
